DEMO 2000 INTERNATIONAL

Since 1988, ActivExpo has been managing the world-class DEMO International event. Like the Olympics, the DEMO 2000 International exhibition is organized every four years. Owned and sponsored by the Canadian Woodlands Forum (CWF), DEMO 2000 International is North America's largest, active exhibition of wood harvesting and forest management systems. Over 100 exhibitors with 300 of the latest woodlands machines and systems operating on 500 acres (200 ha.). ALL LIVE AND IN ACTION. Unlike any other event, DEMO International takes place in-the-forest with the exhibitors spread over 4 miles (6 km).

The exhibit grounds, built to exact exhibitor specifications, must meet strict environmental regulations and public scrutiny. In addition to the 600 trucks delivering equipment and supplies, other logistical challenges include providing for the transportation, food, security and safety of the 15,000 attending this renowned event. Plans for DEMO 2004 International have commenced.
